California Dollars for Scholars asks for your support in our "A Dollar A Day In May... because college doesn't happen by chance" campaign. Too many deserving students find the door to a college education closed because of increasing costs.

There are many simple yet effective ways to help students like Lilian and Angelica. Here are just a few ways you can make higher education more accessible:
- Spread the Word! Tell your friends, family and co-workers about Dollars for Scholars and the A Dollar A Day In May Virtual Graduation Party.
- Ask your employer to help you collect a dollar from each employee during the month of May.
- Visit small businesses, churches, synagogues, or service clubs with which you are involved, and ask for their participation in the Dollar A Day In May campaign.
- Most Importantly - Make a tax deductible contribution of $31 or more to Dollars for Scholars to support our efforts!
